Kirkby Festival - Monday 15th July

12 Jul 2019

Hello everyone!

As we get closer to the end of term we would like to invite all of our amazing children to join us at the second annual Kirkby Festival on Monday 15th July.

There will be circus skills, drumming, art, sports and Forest Schools, with face-painting at lunchtime!

The children will have a full and busy day, hopefully we will all have a fantastic time too. We will be working in small mixed groups throughout the day giving us chance to work with the whole school.

We hope that the weather will be warm and sunny. With this in mind we are asking that children all come to school wearing sun cream and a sunhat. They need to wear clothes suitable for activities that will be messy and sporty, no sandals please. Covering necks, shoulders etc. with loose layers of clothing will help to protect us from the sun a little. All children must bring a named bottle of sun cream with them as they will be asked to reapply at lunchtime. Just in case children should also bring a waterproof coat as we will be outside no matter what the weather brings! Please can all children bring a named water bottle for drinks throughout the day.

Please click to confirm reading your email, confirming will then give your permission for your child to have their face painted (if they choose) and to have an ice lolly. Anyone without permission will not have their face painted or be given a fruit lolly. If you are unable to confirm via email, please speak to a member of staff so that we can note consent.

If you have any questions please ask a member of staff.

Many thanks Mrs Pawson
