Quick reminder about tonight’s reading meeting for all parents in Year 2-6 at 3.30 at Kirkby Malzeard school hall.
Polite Request
As the weather has turned please can we ask you to keep to the footpaths at the front of school, rather than walking on the grass. Thank you for supporting us with keeping our school ready, respectful and safe.
Children in Need
On Friday 17th November, we will be taking part in a Children in Need fundraising day. The school council would like to invite children to dress-up for the day along the theme of spots and/or yellow for a donation of £1. There will be a prize for the most spotty or most yellow outfit!
We are also holding a bake sale at the end of the day for everyone to enjoy. If you are able to bake something for the day, it would be greatly appreciated, these can be brought into school in the morning. Please see the reminder below regarding allergies within school.
Allergens in school – Important Information
We have members of our school community who have severe allergens to the following products:
Cashew nuts, peanuts, lentils, chickpeas and peas (including pea protein, pea flour and pea fibre). Please support us to keep our school community safe by ensuring these products do not come into school and are not included in your child’s packed lunch or snack.

Just a reminder for parents to respond via the email which was sent out on Tuesday, to confirm that you would like your child to have a Christmas lunch (even those who normally have a school meal). Please complete this by Friday 1st December 2023.
