Start of term reminders

We hope you are all having fantastic summer holidays.
We would like to take this opportunity to send out a few reminders for the start of term:
Drop in session – Monday 4th September
School will open for our drop-in morning on Monday 4th September at 8.45am-9.30am; come and see your classroom ready for the start of term.
Term begins
On Tuesday 5th September at 8.45am.
Allergens in school – Important Information
We have members of our school community who have severe allergens to the following products:
Cashew nuts, peanuts, lentils, chickpeas and peas (including pea protein, pea flour and pea fibre). Please support us to keep our school community safe by ensuring these products do not come into school and are not included in your child’s packed lunch or snack.
Clubs
Information about extra circular clubs will be sent home during the first week back. These will begin 11/09/2023.
Whizz Kids
Will commence as normal from Tuesday 5th September. Please book this via the form located on the website which should be returned via email to twilcox@kirkbymalzeard.n-yorks.sch.uk or on paper via the school office.
Lunches
The new lunch menu and order form are located on the school meals section of the website. Please send in any forms via email to twilcox@kirkbymalzeard.n-yorks.sch.uk or on paper via the school office.
School Transport
Please ensure all forms for transport request are returned to the school office by Monday 4th September in order for your child to travel on the bus. These forms are located on the transport section of the website and should be retuned via email to admin@kirkbymalzeard.n-yorks.sch.uk.
Diary Dates for the year ahead
These will be added to the website by Friday 8
th September
for the year ahead.
Name labels
Please help us to ensure that your child’s belongings can be returned to them if mislaid by labelling them all clearly.
Drinks bottles
To include water only please!
Uniform reminders
Can be found on the parent section of the website. Please ensure PE kits are in school for the first day of term.
