Palm Class Appointment
I am writing to share the good news that we have appointed a teacher for Palm Class, Miss Amber Bannon.
Miss Bannon currently teaches in Wakefield but has relocated to the area. Miss Bannon impressed the children and the panel with her excellent teaching and positive manner; we are delighted that she has accepted the position in Palm Class.
In order that Miss Bannon can have a thorough hand over and induction, she will work alongside Mrs Gains in Palm Class for the first few weeks of term whilst she gets to know the children and the school routines.
I’m sure you will all look forward to meeting her and welcoming her to our school community in January.
Leadership in school
In January, there will no longer be an assistant head teacher role within school. Instead, we are sharing the responsibilities of this position between a new senior leadership team within school. Miss Oates and Mrs Pawson, as part of the SLT, will lead and be parents first point of contact when Mrs Taylor is not on site. Further details about their role will be sent to parents in January.
Admin
We are trialling new systems for club, swimming and whizz kids booking this term in an effort to streamline our systems. Please bear with us and contact the admin email if you have any difficulty with these systems. Please see all the information attached for these. We are still without admin support across the federation and thank you for your patience at this time.
Merry Christmas
