Bewerley Park
It has been great to welcome back Year 3 and 4 and to hear all about their lovely adventures. Please keep an eye out on our website and in your email box for the wonderful daily updates from Bewerley Park. We look forward to welcoming Years 5 and 6 back tomorrow.
Busy End 3pm Wednesday 24th September
Palm and Cedar
Parents are invited to come and join class at 3pm to see and hear all about our amazing residential.
Oak and Acorn
Parents are invited to class at 3pm to see our new classrooms in action.
Coffee and cake social meeting with the 'Friends'
New parents are invited to meet other parents in school for coffee, cake and a welcome to school provided by our 'friends' parent group in the school hall at 2.30pm on Wednesday 24
th September.
Parent Reading Meeting
Thank you to those parents who attended the Reading meeting on Monday evening, information packs were handed out during the meeting and have since gone home with children in Year 1 and Reception. If you have any questions or can’t find the reading pack in your child’s bag, please see Mrs Pawson. Please can we remind you of the useful links on our school website, under the Phonics tab.
Parent Pay
Thank you to all those parents who have already settled their accounts and paid for the relevant clubs and activities this term. However please could we ask that any outstanding payments are settled as soon as possible.
A reminder that school meals and whizz Kids sessions should be settled by the end of each month.

Forest School Wednesday – Oak class
This half term
Oak will have their forest school sessions
EVERY Wednesday. Children need to bring with them appropriate clothing and footwear to be outside all afternoon. They will need long trousers, water proofs and wellies. Please make sure that these items are named.
Forest School Friday
To support our Golden Threads, Helen will be running a morning forest school session for each class on a Friday morning. Dates are as follows:
Friday 19
th September – Oak
Friday 26
th September – Palm
Friday 3
rd October – Acorn
Children should come in comfy, warm clothes suitable for forest school. They will need long trousers, water proofs and wellies. Please send uniform in a bag for the afternoon session.
Class Collective Worship
Due to KS2 being away our Collective Worships sessions have looked a little different this week, our normal sessions will resume next week. We’ve been reflecting on our Christian values of love, kindness, patience and peace.
Reminders…
Waterproof coats
We have been caught out by showers a few times this week, we like to spend as much time outside as possible, children do need to have a waterproof coat with them every day.
Headlice
We have cases of headlice in school, please can we ask you to check your child’s hair and to treat any eggs or lice.
Manor Court Parking
Can we ask all parents to
avoid parking in Manor Court at drop off and pick up, this is part of a planning agreement which is in place with our school
