Learn to read books
As we near the end of the school year there are always timetable changes to accommodate sports days, transition times etc. With this in mind our timetable for learning to read books coming home to celebrate reading needs to alter slightly from the norm. Children will not always bring their book home on their usual day. Please can children always have their book bag and reading record in school and all books must be returned to school on a Friday.
Thank you for your understanding.
Monday 10th June - Sports Afternoon
Sports Afternoon will now take place on Monday 10
th June. Thank you for your support and understanding with the rescheduling of this event. Children will come to school in the morning in their PE kit, as previously planned.
Great North Swim
Miss Mackenzie will be completing the Great North Swim on Saturday in Lake Windermere. She is raising money for a young boy called Alan, who is in need of rehabilitation following a life-changing accident. All money raised will go towards Alan's mother Kamila Nowicka's appeal fund towards treatment for Alan, physiotherapy and spinal chord surgery. Any donations are very gratefully received. Thank you.
