Wednesday 13th March - Parent Consultations Oak and Acorn
A reminder that bookings were sent out by email a couple of weeks ago, if you haven’t already booked your appointment please do so. This is for parents in Oak and for parents in Acorn who previously have not had an appointment.
Residential visit to Bewerley Park
A gentle reminder for parents to settle their accounts on Parent Pay for Bewerley Park by the very latest

Friday 15 March 2024 - Red Nose Day
We are changing how we are marking Comic Relief this year. We would like to recognise this important charity event and are inviting children to wear one item of red to school that day (everything else is school uniform). We are asking that if you wish to donate to charity that you do so directly through the Comic Relief website, via this link

RSE Survey
Our current federation policy for Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) has been in its current form for three years. We would now like to consult parents and carers once again as we come to review it. We would be very grateful if you could take a moment to complete this survey and return it to school by

Forest School Wednesday - Acorn Class
This half term Acorn will have their forest school sessions
EVERY Wednesday. Children need to bring with them one waterproof coat, waterproof trousers, hat and gloves. Please make sure these are named and your child knows what they have brought with them.
Can all items be in a small bag separate to their lunch or reading bag.
Reminders…
Polite Reminder - Allergens in school – Important Information
We have members of our school community who have severe allergens to the following products:
Cashew nuts, peanuts, lentils, chickpeas and peas (including pea protein, pea flour and pea fibre).
Please support us to keep our school community safe by ensuring these products do not come into school and are not included in your child’s packed lunch or snack.
In addition, please can we request that
all grapes, blueberries, cherries, sausages, popcorn need to be cut up, or avoided as they pose a significant choking risk to young children.
Lost Property
We have a pair of glasses in school (black & pink frames) if you have lost a pair please come and see us.
Forest School Friday - Change of Date
To support our Golden Thread further, Helen will be running a morning forest school session for each class on a Friday morning based around Being Curious.
Dates are as follows:
Friday 8
th March - Cedar class
PE
Acorn class will need to come to school in PE kits ready for their lessons on Fridays this half term. Palm and Oak will need to bring their PE kits in on a Wednesday this half term.

Parent Carer Voice Conference
Parent Carer Voice is the North Yorkshire charity supporting parents and carers of children and young people with SEN and disabilities. They hosting a free conference on-line and in person next week on Tuesday 12th March (remotely) and Wednesday 13th March in person at the Cedar Court Hotel in Harrogate and would like to invite you to join.
