Weekly Updates
Good afternoon,
Please see below for any updates for the week ahead.
Year 6 SATs
We are extremely proud of our school community this week, they have supported our Year 6 pupils and helped to keep our school day calm and happy. We have seen everyone ‘shine like stars’ and this has made us all feel inspired and proud. Year 6 all deserve a restful and fun weekend- they have worked very hard!
In school next week,
Year 2 SATs
Starting Monday 15
th May, Year 2 children will be sitting their SATs over a couple weeks. These are less formal than our Year 6 SATs and children will work in a small group with Miss Oates. No preparation is needed other than plenty of sleep, fun and reading for pleasure! As a school community we wish them a calm and successful couple of weeks. If your child is in Year 2 and you have any questions, please see Miss Oates in person.

Social Media Safety
This recently published video by financial times films, gives an important insight to the impact of social media on our children and our family life. The video is well worth a watch. It has been used with parent groups, and they were shocked. The video led them to reconsider how they talk to their children about their social media use.
