NSPCC 'Speak Out. Stay Safe.'
Mrs Wolfe - 02 Dec 2020
These last two weeks we have been delivering the NSPCC 'Speak Out. Stay Safe' programme across school - parents received a letter regarding the programme at half term.
'Speak Out. Stay Safe' is a safeguarding programme for children aged 5- to 11-years-old and is available to all primary schools in the UK and Channel Islands. Our pupils have met Buddy, the NSPCC speech bubble mascot, as well as some famous celebrities who have delivered our interactive workshops.
Buddy wants everyone to know that all children have the right to:
- speak out and be heard
- be safe
- get help when they need it.
We have been so impressed with the children, who have been learning about and discussing Children's Rights and how important it is to speak out and stay safe.
