KS2 Sharing Day with West Tanfield
24 Apr 2018
Last term, Cedar and Palm classes studied West Tanfield for their topic, and St Nicholas KS2 children studied Kirkby Malzeard. We had an afternoon to share what we'd learnt about each other's villages.
St Nicholas presented Kirkby School with a fabulous tapestry they had made to show all the wonderful things in Kirkby. We are still working on our tapestry of West Tanfield, and hope to get it completed soon!
West Tanfield's Visit!
On Monday 23rd April 2018, West Tanfield came to Kirkby Malzeard C of E Primary School. St Nicholas School went in the hall and put their lunch boxes and coats in the library. After that, it was end of break. Palm and Cedar lined up and went into the hall. Palm sat down on the benches and waited to do their presentation. It was really good. Then it was Cedar's go.
It was a bit different, because we had to walk around. Next it was St Nicholas School's turn but before they did their presentation we had a break so St Nicholas could get ready. After we had had our break, we went to the hall and sat down. They were all ready to do their presentation. It was fantastic with the movies - they all tried their best!
Eventually, we had our best day ever!
