Read, read, read - everyday!
We have also set up each child in Cedar with their own username and password for a new reading programme called 'Read Theory'. Read Theory is a great educational tool that offers online reading activities for all ages and ability levels. It adapts to students’ individual ability levels and presents them with thousands of skill building exercises that suit their needs. The texts are engaging and offer access to a variety of text types. Pupils can access Read Theory at school and at home - all you need is an internet connection. Please note, the programme is an american programme, therefore an explanantion of spelling differences may be required at times, e.g. the English spelling is organised, rather than orgnanized.
Once your child has completed the pre-test at school you will be sent their username and password via email. Please note, these may not be sent until next week whilst your child is famaliarising themselves with the programme at school.
