Weekly Update - 19th July 2018

What a fantastic year we have had! It has been a pleasure to teach your children this year. They have worked incredibly hard and really do deserve to enjoy a wonderful summer holiday.

We have spent much of the week reflecting on our year and thinking about memories of Year 3 and 4. It was great to hear that the children have had so many memorable learning experiences - Carlton Lodge seems to have been a real triumph as well as all our exciting visits.

This week we finally got around to erupting volcanoes - see the eruption of photographs below! We also really enjoyed watching 'The Rocky Monster Show' at St Nicholas on Monday afternoon. We made the most of the sunny weather on Wednesday by recreating a game of 'festival rounders' from the Kirkby Festival - all of this as well as solving lots of problems in Maths and English, demonstrating super teamwork skills and tasting some Spanish treats!

I hope everyone has a wonderful, restful summer. I look forward to seeing everyone in September.
