Weekly Update - 5th July 2018

03 Jul 2018

What a busy week we have had! We are now in our final stages of rehearsals for 'Shakespeare Rocks' - thank you to everyone who has brought in costumes for the performances. The children are going to look amazing! We will be performing our dress rehearsal on Monday for the children in Oak Class and the Key Stage 2 children from St Nicholas. We are really looking forward to visiting West Tanfield later in the term to see their production.

Back in the classroom, we have completed our end of year assessments. The children have worked incredibly hard and made me very proud.
They have put in a lot of effort and the assessments really demonstrate how hard they have worked this year. Details of the assessments will be sent home with your child's annual report next week.We even squeezed in some time to investigate quadrilaterals and today the children have investigated and reasoned with quadrilateral shapes. See if they can tell you about any of them at home! In French this week we investigated buildings in France and enjoyed using French dictionaries to translate.
