Gemma Pawson - 17 Jun 2020

Good morning Acorn Class

Today is wildlife Wednesday, I wonder what you will be doing today that is wild or how you will be celebrating wildlife. Yesterday The Wildlife Trust asked people to recommend their favourite books about wildlife. I was wondering what books you would recommend? I love Watership Down and of course The King of the Tiny Things. There are so many to choose from!
Today we are going to try and do a bingo quiz in the wildlife area. This weekend is the 30 Days Wild Big Weekend, there are lots of great ideas planned, I will put some links onto our Instagram page.

Yesterday Sir David Attenborough was helping older children with their Geography work at home. My family loved watching the programmes. This made me think, I wonder how many of you have ever watched a programme by Sir David Attenborough? They are amazing and I think that you would love them.

Here are some learning ideas to try today.

We are going to open our mystery book today and read it together. I will post it onto our class Instagram page. I wonder what it will be about. After we have read it shall we have a think about the characters and a chat about our ideas. I would love to hear your ideas. I will be on our class email between 2 and 3pm today.

Everyone should have recieved an invitation for our class Team meeting on Thursday at 2pm. If you have not then please let me know ASAP so that I can fix any problems! I am really excited to see you all, don't forget your paper hats!

Have a wonderful Wednesday Acorn Class
Keep having fun
